Overview

Pet Chronic is designed for private chronic-care tracking for pets. The app does not require an account and does not send your pet care records to the developer.

Data You Enter

You may enter pet names, species, ages, chronic conditions, medications, symptom observations, medication events, reminder times, vet prep notes, and exported backup data.

Where Care Data Is Stored

Care data is stored on your device. When iCloud is available for the app, care data may be stored in your private iCloud container so it can sync across your devices through Apple iCloud. Local care data and export snapshots are excluded from iCloud Backup unless iCloud sync is being used.

Data Shared With the Developer

Pet Chronic does not transmit pet care records, notes, medication details, reminders, imported JSON, or exported JSON bundles to the developer.

Exports and Sharing

The app lets you create point-in-time JSON exports and plain-text vet summaries. You control where those files or summaries are shared after you use the iOS share sheet.

Notifications

If you enable medication reminders, iOS may show local notification alerts for medication timing. Reminder scheduling is handled on your device.

Analytics and Tracking

Pet Chronic does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
